As we start a new month, we are faced with new challenges. This past weekend, President Trump launched us into a war with Iran, which is illegal, unpopular and unconstitutional. Our Constitution says that Congress alone has the power to declare war. So, Congress needs to stop him. Our priority this week is getting our Senators and Representatives to vote on the War Powers Resolution to stop U.S. military involvement without congressional authorization. They need to hear from us now.
Action List
Call and email your Senators and Representatives today and ask them to support the War Powers Resolution
Call and email your Senators and Representatives to demand they support a War Powers Resolution. Only Congress can authorize war, so let's demand that Congress ends U.S. military involvement in Iran. The vote is set to happen in the Senate today!
Call and email your Senators to vote no on funding ICE
Republicans are using Trump’s war with Iran to insist Democrats drop their opposition to new funding for ICE and Border Patrol. Use the Indivisible call scripts and email tool to contact your members of Congress and demand they refuse to expand Trump’s capacity to terrorize our communities just because he decided to bomb Iran.
